You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
6. Payment Terms
All fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are set out in the Engagement Letter issued before any work begins. The following terms apply:
- Fees are payable as agreed in the Engagement Letter (typically in advance or at stated milestones).
- Disbursements (official fees, translation, notarisation) are identified in advance and charged at cost.
- Payment may be made by bank transfer to our nominated account.
- Fees are non-refundable once work on the mandate has commenced, except where we are at fault.
- In the event of early termination by the Client, fees for work completed to date will remain payable.
7. Service-Specific Terms
The following terms apply specifically to our legal services:
- Scope: The scope of each engagement is defined in the Engagement Letter. Any work outside that scope requires a separate written agreement.
- Timelines: We endeavour to complete matters efficiently, but cannot commit to fixed timelines where external factors — court scheduling, consular delays, third-party responses — are outside our control.
- Confidentiality: All information shared with us is held in strict confidence within the attorney-client relationship.
- Client cooperation: Timely delivery of required documents and information is necessary for us to perform the Services effectively.
8. Disclaimers
The following disclaimers apply to all our services and website content:

- We make no representation as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information on this website.
- Outcomes in legal matters depend on many factors outside our control. We cannot commit to specific results.
- Our services are provided using reasonable professional skill and care, but we do not give assurances as to outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law:
- Our total liability to you in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific engagement.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from our services or from use of this website.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events, court closures, or actions of third-party authorities.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pranee Legal and its advocates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or from information you have provided to us that is inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete.
11. Termination of Engagement
Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice, subject to the following:
- We may withdraw from a mandate where required by professional obligations, ethical rules, or where the client relationship has broken down irreparably.
- On termination, all fees for work completed to the date of termination remain payable.
- Clauses relating to confidentiality, payment, and liability survive termination.
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms and any engagement under them are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of any dispute:
- We will first seek to resolve the matter through informal discussion.
- If informal resolution is not possible within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Court or such other court of competent jurisdiction under Thai law.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any Engagement Letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to a matter.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
- Notices: Notices to us should be sent in writing to our office address or to [email protected].
