I came to Pranee Legal needing help with marriage registration paperwork — my wife is Thai and I had underestimated how involved the consular side of things would be. Nuttapong handled all of it. I genuinely did not need to chase anyone; they just got on with it and let me know when something was needed from me.

I was nervous about going through a formal separation. Pranee sat with me at the first meeting and was very clear about the options — no pressure toward any of them. The negotiation took a few weeks longer than I had hoped, but the outcome was fair and I felt heard throughout. I would go back to them.

My situation ended up in court, which I had not wanted. What made the difference was having one person who knew the full background from the very beginning. Pranee handled everything from the initial hearing through to the ruling, kept me informed at each stage, and did not sugarcoat the difficult moments. Appellate cover being included was also a real comfort.

I needed documentation prepared for a marriage registration with my German partner. The embassy requirements were complicated and I had tried to do it myself without success. Pranee Legal took over and handled the consular coordination, translations, and notarisation. The package was complete and accepted first time.

I came in expecting a difficult, expensive process. The fee was clearly stated upfront, which I appreciated enormously — no hidden additions later. The negotiation was handled with real patience on both sides. Wanida at the front office was also very kind and made the administrative side simple.

My family court matter ran for about five months. Throughout that time, I always knew what was happening and what was coming next. Pranee was candid with me about the parts that were uncertain, which I found far more reassuring than false confidence would have been. Good people to have on your side.

Cross-Border Marriage, Seven Nationalities Involved
The Situation
A Thai national and a Danish resident sought to register their marriage in Thailand and have it recognised in Denmark. Multiple document requirements applied — Thai Amphoe registration, Danish embassy authentication, apostille, and certified translation — in a sequence neither party had navigated before.
Our Approach
We mapped the full document chain at the outset, identifying which documents needed to be obtained, in what order, and from which authorities. We liaised directly with the Danish Embassy in Bangkok and coordinated with an accredited translator and notary to ensure the package met all requirements.
Outcome
The complete filing package was ready within three weeks of instruction. Both the Thai registration and the Danish recognition proceeded without request for additional documents. The clients had one point of contact throughout and did not need to deal with multiple agencies themselves.
"We had tried to start this ourselves and got lost quickly. Handing it to Pranee Legal was the right call." — K.P. & M.A.
Divorce Negotiation
Separation Agreement Without Court Proceedings
The Situation
A couple had decided to separate after eight years of marriage. Both parties wanted to resolve matters without contested court proceedings, but initial conversations between them had stalled over asset division. Neither wanted a prolonged and costly litigation process.
Our Approach
We worked with our client to prepare a structured proposed settlement and engaged directly with the other party's counsel. Two rounds of negotiation, supplemented by a single mediation session, resulted in agreed terms that both parties could accept. The settlement document was prepared for court registration.
Outcome
Settlement reached in approximately six weeks from instruction. The matter was resolved without contested proceedings, keeping costs and time to a minimum for both parties. The court registration of the settlement was completed without complication.
"I wanted it over and fair. That is what happened." — S.W.
Court Mandate
Contested Custody Proceedings with Successful Ruling
The Situation
An expatriate parent needed court representation in a contested custody matter. Previous negotiations had not produced agreement and court proceedings became necessary. The client required an advocate who could manage both the Thai legal process and communicate clearly in English throughout.
Our Approach
Pranee led the matter personally from intake. File preparation was thorough — affidavits, supporting evidence, and witness preparation undertaken ahead of each hearing. The client was briefed before each court date and informed promptly after. Planning conversations shaped strategy at each stage.
Outcome
A ruling in the client's favour was issued after approximately five months of proceedings. The opposing party did not appeal. Appellate cover, though not ultimately needed, was in place throughout and gave the client confidence that the mandate was complete.
"Good people to have on your side — thorough and honest at every step." — A.T.
